Wendy Vogt is Associate Professor of Anthropology at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Arizona and her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. Her work examines the intersections between migration, violence and human rights in the Americas. Her book, Lives in Transit: Violence and Intimacy on the Migrant Journey (2018) published by the University of California Press, is based on long-term fieldwork with Central American migrants and humanitarian workers in Mexico.
