Taiwan has long been recognized as an example of democracy, freedom and a global rules-based order, and is a vital and reliable partner and ally to the U.S., especially under the U.S.’s free and open Indo-Pacific strategy. Taiwan is geo-strategically important with a consistent record of pragmatic and laudable policies in both domestic and International sectors.
