Solutions to Today's Global Hunger Crisis and Preventing the Next One
Instead of making progress toward the UN's goal of ending hunger by 2030, the world is facing a devastating hunger crisis. 44 million people in 38 countries, about the total population of California and Indiana combined, are facing extreme hunger. The conflict in Ukraine is making the situation even worse. The good news is that practical solutions can change the tide. Learn from Oxfam's Food Systems Director Dr. Laté Lawson-Lartego on solving hunger and Indiana's special role in it.
David Miner, chairman, board of directors, Indy Hunger Network will join the program to provide information on food insecurity in Central Indiana, its causes, consequences, and the work that is being done to address the issues
